FAQ

What’s The Difference Between The PLUS Model & PRO Model?

Both have patent-pending frequencies not found on any other reaction technology devices, and can be used for professional or home use.

The Tennant BioModulator® PLUS is an advanced unit designed for long-lasting pain relief. The BioModulator® PLUS unit settings include four proprietary modes developed by Dr. Tennant. These modes include Assess, Ten-8™, Infinity™ and Automatic.

The Tennant BioModulator® PRO is a professional grade device specifically designed for when deeper therapy penetration is needed and is recommended for serious, chronic conditions. The device includes reaction technology and Dr. Jerry Tennant’s proprietary frequencies, as well as user control options and more than 60 pre-set modes.

Does the Tennant BioModulator® PLUS & PRO have FDA acceptance/approval?

The Tennant BioModulator® PLUS and PRO are listed with the FDA as a reaction-controlled electro-stimulator. They are regulated by the United States Food and Drug Administration, under 21 CFR 882.5890, Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulator for pain relief, Product Code GZJ, Class II medical device. Indications for use: for symptomatic relief and management of chronic, intractable pain, and adjunctive treatment in the management of post-surgical and post-traumatic pain.

How does it differ from a Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator (TENS) unit?

The Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator, more commonly referred to as a TENS unit is an electronic medical device that produces electrical signals used to stimulate nerves through unbroken skin. The TENS units are bombardment devices; meaning they are not capable of “knowing” or delivering the exact current that the cell(s) need. The BioModulator® has the capability of delivering current “frequency” to the cell(s) by first measuring the tissue through reaction. When current is introduced to a cell, if it is off even a millionth of an amp, can be the difference between the cells utilizing it or not.

Is It Safe?

Yes – The Tennant BioModulator® PLUS and PRO have shown little to no side effects. Training will provide you with the opportunity to receive maximum benefits. DO NOT use on a person with a pacemaker or other electronic implants. See Safety Precautions.

Why is it the Tennant BioModulation® Therapy not used by doctors as a general practice of medicine?

Doctors and medical science normally pay attention to the chemical aspect of the body; therefore, they primarily use surgery and drug therapy as their method of treatment.

My chiropractor uses an electrical stimulation device on me, is that the same thing?

No – The BioModulator® has the capability of delivering current “frequency” to the cell(s) by first measuring the tissue through reaction therapy. When current is introduced to a cell, even if it is off even a millionth of an amp, will mean the difference between the cell utilizing it or not. Most other devices are bombardment devices; meaning they are not capable of “knowing” or delivering the exact current that the cell(s) need.

Can I purchase a Tennant BioModulator® PLUS or PRO for my personal use?

Yes – The FDA requires a written prescription by a licensed health care practitioner.

Since the Tennant BioModulator® PLUS and PRO are prescription devices, will my insurance pay for it?

Perhaps – If you have been seeing a doctor that has been treating you for pain and that doctor writes you a prescription for pain and provides a letter of medical necessity, your insurance company may pay for it. Medicare does not pay for these devices.
